Straptop Goldlock? Goldtop Straplock?
Dunlop Ergo Lok Strap.
Dunlop Lok Strap.

hey bro (been following your blog for a while now, but this is my first comment), did you change the strap lock because the goldie is heavy? I owned a LTD KH203 which is pretty heavy but I've been using d ori?Hmmm... should i change? Any advice?
muspeed:
straplock ni klu pasang kat RG tak berapa sesuai, hang kena ada lespaul baru ngam! hahaha (racun)
anon:
welcome... yes, this goldie is indeed heavy. but that's not the reason i've changed to this type of straplock... just an extra precaution, and it looks damn cool on lespaul too :)
depend on ur budget, the plastic straplock was recommended. although it's cheap, yet locks ur strap securely even on heavy guitars/basses (unless the strap button gives away or u do janick gers' stunts). i know KH203 is not a cheap guitar, but imagine suddenly the strap snaps-off from the button, then kamikaze-ing to the floor neck first... horrible indeed!
*aik, dah mcm komen bro sub pulak, hahaha...
Thanks Bro Ijau for response. Hmm..... I might try it out on my other guitar first (... LTD M-53). BTW, hows the goldie? I am a big fan of single cut guitars, hence the KH203.
Yes... soon we will have our own verion of bro sub too based in East M'sia.
Rock on for LOUDNESS!!!!!
anon (pls put atleast a simple nick):
pls don't compare me with bro sub (bezanya mcm langit dan bumi) although he inspires me to blog about guitars
in fact, it's my 2nd year as a rookie in the guitar/bass world (since 2009), so don't expect technical stuff from me... i'm just blogging about my experiences
Sure bro ijau. I actually stumble to your blog from DEG when I was searching for guitars to buy. From your blog then to Bro Sub. (Langit dan Bumi........ hmmmmm sounds like a Search song........) Okla, give yourself some credit bro. Your blog is number 2 on my list after Bro Sub, (also bcoz I'm a fan of ebay) hahahahhaha.
Signing off...
